What I Like Most About My Job

That each day is different. Clients are booked in in advance but on the day there are usually cancellations which are then filled with other people waiting for an appointment. Every one has a different approach to their addiction to drugs and alcohol. I enjoy that they are individuals and that they each find strategies to manage their recovery.

I love seeing the sense of achievement and excitement clients feel when they have been able to break through to a new level of recovery. It is humbling experience. They are some of the most courageous people I know. Each day in recovery is a triumph and every time they get up and go again they are winners in my eyes.
