Recently we spent the day in Canberra, the Capital of Australia, and enjoyed the spectacular displays of flowering cherry trees that lined many streets.
The trip had been planned for some time and we had high expectations that we would be rewarded for our efforts and time n Canberra. However, it wasn’t meant to be. The caravans the MOTH (Man of the House) had spent months researching – and that looked amazing on the webpages – were a disappointment.
We noticed the cherry blossom trees and remarked on them frequently during our drive to our destination. On the return trip we all we saw ahead was the road ahead. We wore our disappointment like blinkers that shut out the beauty around us.
We are back home and the search for a suitable caravan starts afresh. Never mind this photograph will remind us there were highlights along the way. There always are.
