Photo Challenge: Off Season

Here in the land down under we are a week shy of the shortest day of the year, marking mid-winter.  But strange things are happening in the garden.  The jonquils are cheerily brightening the bird feeder garden and their colour is welcome.

  1. How strange that we in the tropics are a few days away from the longest day of the year! The Flame trees are shedding their blossoms, as summer ends and the monsoon season begins. And we’re only a an 8-hour plane ride away from each other!
