Share Your World – 2014 Week 43

Share Your World is driven by the enthusiasm and creativity of Cee.  Each week a set of questions is posted and it is our task to answer them.  Sharing each week we get a glimpse behind the screen of those bloggers’ lives we only know as snappy short story/post writers.  The exciting thing about Cee’s prompts is they provide a level platform from which we get to know a little more personal information about others.  A fun non-threatening way to share a snippet of ourselves each week.

What is your favorite time of day?

The time between getting home from work and hopping into bed.  The MOTH (Man of The House) and I do our own thing until around 8.30pm and sit down to watch an hour of television before heading off to bed.  In Winter it is home to a cozy fire-warmed home and in Summer the swimming pool is waiting to cool us down.

What’s your favorite charitable cause and why?

Compassion Australia, Christian Blind Mission and my Church because it supports the community in so many ways.

How do you like to spend a rainy day?

On the couch with a good book.

When writing by hand do you prefer to use a pencil or pen?

Pen definitely.  I have a number of fountain pens.  My favourite fountain pen is bright yellow, has a fine nib and the words that flow off its tip are more legible than those written with a ball point or pencil.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am grateful for beautiful weather after work so we could have swims.  This week I look forward to meeting with my home group again.
