Cee, who hosts this weekly challenge, poses four questions each week. Our task is to answer them as truthfully or imaginatively as we can. When we link back to Cee’s web page for that week, by placing a link to your post in Share Your World’s comments, we continue to participate by inviting others to read or comments as we return the compliment and visit their blogs. How easy is that!
Did you ever get lost?
Yes, all the time. If there’s a GPS involved it is a guaranteed outcome. If the MOTH is in the car it is a guaranteed outcome. I get lost quite frequently (even on my own) but I’m less concerned about ‘being lost’ because years of experience suggest I’ll eventually ‘find my way home’.
Who was your best friend in elementary school?
I changed schools so many times in those years I do not remember a single person I called my friend. High school was a different matter entirely. I changed schools twice during the latter school years and was able to form good friendships.
Since the news television season has started in the US, list three favorite TV shows.
It used to be that we all looked forward to a new season of TV starting but in the past three years it has been a disappointment. The MOTH and I enjoy dramas like Silk (a series about the legal fraternity in England), QI, Gardening Australia and David Attenborough documentaries.
If you were a mouse in your house in the evening, what would you see your family doing?
The MOTH (Man of The House) will be multi-tasking: cooking tea, watching Stephen Fry on QI, pressing buttons on the TV remote, playing on his laptop, hiding under his headphones and getting up regularly to make cups of tea.
I will be writing, quilting, scrapbooking, bewilderedly watching TV wondering why I wasn’t following the thread of the show and drinking the cups of tea and meal the MOTH had so lovingly prepared … and hunting down the cheese and mouse trap!
What are you grateful for from last week?
Safe travels as we moved about parts of the country on our camping holiday, good weather, solitude, writing time, opportunities to experience new things and new places, still being excited about the majesty of nature.
What are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
That Monday is a public holiday, getting home to our swimming pool, reconnecting with friends and scrapbooking our camping fortnight.
