While an hiatus (maybe should be a hiatus) has been declared for QP (QueasyPeasy), blogging is still on the agenda. Whilst QueasyPeasy has been the domain of writing whilst at home, Catch us Camping is where I write about our trips away in our camper trailer (mostly). So while QP may sport a few posts a week I will be spending time over at my other happy cyber space Catch Us Camping updating that site from camping journal entries. With intermittent internet connections emailing daily blog posts becomes arduous and not something I want to be focussing on whilst on holiday. As one day rolls into the next without a line to the great wild cyber yonder those entries risk being shut away. Therefore, over the next little while I’m opening the covers of the holiday journal and posting them at Catch Us Camping.
During the last week in August we will be joining family to explore the Murray River. Catch Us Camping will be posting to share what suggests happy times of reconnecting with family from across the ditch (New Zealand) and visiting a parts of the country none of us have seen before. In preparation I am reading Nancy Cato’s second novel in All The Rivers Run series: Time, Flow Softly. I am excited to be learning about the history of paddle steamers and other river boats from times gone by as well as the town of Echuca, from where we pick up our houseboat.
